Below are a few compiled Max/MSP patches for Mac OSX from over the years.

please note: i am not a certified apple developer so you most likely won’t be able to double click on the unzipped app file to launch it the first time you try. you should be able to right+click (ctrl+click) and choose “open file” which will then present you with a warning dialog. choose “open anyway” and from then you you’ll be good to go.

grainnodes – save 9 presets of granular controls and use a 2D blob space to interpolate between the presets. makes it easy to change many parameters simultaneously with simple intuitive mouse commands. also available as a max for live device. screenshot

nodecontrol – a max for live device which lets you assign 8 knobs to any 8 parameters in Live and then create 9 presets of settings for those parameters. then you interpolate between the presets using a 2D node space, allowing you to control many parameters with a single intuitive mouse gesture. screenshot

beaunz – harsh digital feedback machine. caution, potentially hazardous to transducers (speakers, eardrums, etc.). screenshot

overtonegrid – click on the grid to hear sine tones tuned to overtones 16 – 31. groovy, colored dots too. screenshot

tune into jupiter – listen to radio programs from jupiter or modulate your own earth sounds. improved version 2 adds pitch masks, midi control and other goodies. screenshot

jupiter fm – this used to be part of tune into jupiter…now it’s its own thing. screenshot

stopwatch – a simple stop watch program to help you realize all of those graphic and text score pieces. one big clock can be seen by many musicians. any start time can be entered and the clock can be resized as needed. screenshot
